We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, newsletter name, and city/state when you register. We also collect payment information (processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card details). We collect usage data about how you interact with the Service.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (password resets, billing notices), and communicate with you about the Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
If you connect your Gmail account, LocalLedger stores an encrypted OAuth token to send emails on your behalf. We do not read your existing emails. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings or within LocalLedger settings.
If you connect a Google Sheet, LocalLedger reads and writes data to that sheet as part of the pipeline management feature. We access only the specific sheet you authorize.
Your data is stored in a secured database hosted on Railway. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We implement industry-standard security practices including CSRF protection, secure session cookies, and rate limiting.
We use the following third-party services: Stripe (payment processing), Google (OAuth, Gmail API, Sheets API), Anthropic (AI content generation), and Beehiiv (newsletter subscriber integration). Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it longer.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may also export your data from the Settings page.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice within the Service.
