By creating an account and using LocalLedger ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
LocalLedger provides software tools to help operators launch, write, and monetize local newsletters, including AI-assisted content drafting, cold email outreach tools, and a sponsor sales pipeline. The Service is intended for business use by newsletter operators.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
You agree not to use the Service to send unsolicited commercial email in violation of applicable law (including the CAN-SPAM Act), to harass or harm others, to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all emails sent through or with the assistance of the Service comply with applicable laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, and GDPR where applicable. LocalLedger provides compliance tools but is not responsible for your use of them.
The Service requires payment of a one-time setup fee and a monthly subscription fee as listed on the pricing page. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Content you create using the Service remains yours. You grant LocalLedger a limited license to process your content to provide the Service. LocalLedger retains all rights to the platform, software, and proprietary AI systems.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. LocalLedger does not guarantee any specific results, revenue, subscriber counts, or business outcomes from use of the Service. Case studies and examples on the marketing site represent individual results and are not guarantees.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits or data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
